This interactive drama focuses on the consequences of auto theft. Commissioned by the National Motor Vehicle Theft Reduction Council and Glenorchy Council, this dramatic and highly interactive narrative follows the fortunes of five teenagers over one action-packed evening.
Viewers can choose to follow different cast members in order to explore a range of actions and outcomes. Celebrity DJ Ruby Rose features in a guest role. The film was shot in Hobart over four freezing nights in June 2011.

Work experience @ Roar
In July two work experience students from Friends School in Hobart created a short film showing how to locate Roar's new offices in Salamanca Place. Creative Director Steve Thomas said, "Georgia and Jess really impressed us with their efforts and their capacity to learn new skills."

Roar Educate has launched Us Online v2.0 to the London Grid, the broadband consortium for London's 2,600 schools and 1.6 million students. Us Online v2.0 is interactive learning about e-safety, e-security, and being a good citizen in the online world, with three modules plus teacher resources, Me Online (for lower primary), Our Online World (for middle-school), and Meme (for secondary schools).

Roar has been selected as a finalist for the 2009 BETT Awards, the prestigious British educational technology awards. Roar has been short-listed for Us Online, a module of web-based student activities about safety and good citizenship in the online world. Roar developed Us Online in partnership with the London Grid for Learning (LGfL). The annual BETT Awards recognise and reward 'exemplar' education products and learning solutions. Winners will be announced on 15 January 2009 at BETT - the world's largest educational technology expo, held each year in London.
