An on-line journey across six decades of rough travel, through the changing fortunes of eleven countries. Dust On My Shoes has as its starting point an epic travel book written by a young Australian adventurer who journeyed overland from Greece to Burma in 1949. Travelling with the bare minimum of luggage and usually penniless, he was the trailblazer for legions of young Australians taking on the trouble-spots of the world with just a pack on their back and a guide book in their hand.
